Important Submission Guidelines

Protean Technologies Limited (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited) handles PAN applications on behalf of the Income Tax Department at tinpan.proteantech.in.
This is a SEPARATE portal from UTIITSL — each has different dimension and DPI requirements.
Physical PAN form (Form 49A/49AA) also requires a 3.5 × 2.5 cm photograph affixed with adhesive (no staples/clips).
